The second game of the day saw Para Panamerican Games winners Brazil take on the United States, who finished fifth in that tournament. Brazil dominated the first half, with a number of goal scoring opportunities. Jonatas Santos Machado was the first Brazilian to put a goal in the back of the net. Both sides made a number of errors, including three handballs, 2 against Brazil and 1 against the United States, but neither team was able to capitalize on set pieces. Evandro de Oliveira Gomes de Souza scored Brazilโs second goal midway through the first half. The Americans were only kept in the game because of the play of their goalkeeper Keith Johnson.
The second half saw a yellow against the United States Steveven Bohlemann. The pace of the game slowed down. Brazilโs Felipe Rafael Silva Gomes scored midway through the second half, to bring the score to 3 โ 0 where it ended.
