They might have lost both games during their trip to Finland, but make no mistake; there is optimism around the French men's national team.
Across August 16 and 17, France was defeated 2-0 and 4-0, but many of France's next-generation of Cerebral Palsy Football players represented their country for the first time.
Jhon Viafara, President of Association Francaise de Football PC (AFFPC) took that as an important lesson from the two matches, with an eye on the future.
"It is always positive to see the French National team compete," Viafara said.
"The sporting project is to grow every day as a team and we are achieving it.
We think that in 2025 we will have a group of players eager to compete with the greats in Europe and it is our dream."
According to Viafara, 60% of the team debuted for the first time.
France is currently ranked #30 in the world.
