International Classifiers

Classification Personnel is fundamental to the effective implementation of the Classification Rules. IFCPF will appoint a number of Classification Personnel, each of whom will have a key role in the organisation, implementation and administration of Classification for CP Football. IFCPF recognises Classifiers in a particular competition as Games Officials.

A Classifier is a person authorised as an official and certified by the IFCPF to conduct some or all components of Athlete Evaluation as a member of a Classification Panel. A Classifier will be authorised to act as a Classifier if that Classifier has been certified by IFCPF as having the relevant Classifier Competencies. There are two types of IFCPF Classifiers: Medical Classifier (i.e., medical doctor, physiotherapists) and Sport Technical Classifiers.
