IFCPF Continue Pushing for Women's Competitive Playing Opportunities
NewsIFCPF continues it's work around inclusivity of Women and Girls CP Football
The IFCPF has unveiled it's new guidance scheme to help in the push for wider inclusion of Women and Girls in CP Football. The new document provides practical recommendations for IFCPF member nations to create national championships, leagues, and other competitive opportunities for women and girls in CP football.
The guidance scheme comprises of 5 key areas with objectives and strategies for each, to allow further inclusion of Women's and Girls football:
1. Starting Small: Small-Sided Matches & Festivals
2. Mixed-Gender Competitions
3. Women’s Divisions Within National Championships
4. Exhibition & National Team Matches
5. Regional & Cross-Border Collaboration
This comes as a widescale campaign to improve opportunities in both CP Football and Women's Sport in general.
