Denmark Name Squad for International Friendlies Against Catalonia

Denmark has named an eight-player squad for its two friendlies against Catalonia, the first of which will take place on July 6.

Head coach Mie Randløv will try and orchestrate a repeat of last year's friendly against the same opponents, in which the Danes were victorious.

Team manager Margrét Bjarnadóttir sees these matches as crucial in preparing for the IFCPF Women's World Cup, which will take place in November.

"The Danish team are really excited to represent our country," Bjarnadóttir said.

"It's been a really long journey to get here, so we are all really excited.

"We also see it as good practice for the World Cup in November, our main goal is to spread awareness about our women's CP Football team."
