A training session aimed at females between the ages of seven and 16 will take place this Saturday at Bristol's Imperial Sports Ground.

The event will run between 12-2 pm, and the session will be in partnership with CP Sport and Bristol City Football Club's Robins Foundation.

The FA selected Bristol City Cerebral Palsy FC to host an event for players with female players, and this presents an opportunity for them to play.

Founder and chairman of Bristol City Cerebral Palsy FC Bob Young is excited at the opportunity to give young female players this opportunity, which may lead to future involvement in the game.

"Bristol City Cerebral Palsy FC is honoured and thrilled to be selected by the FA as the host of satellite days," Young said.

"These days are specifically designed for girls under the age of 16 who have cerebral palsy or an acquired brain injury and are able to walk and run without assistance.

"Participating in football presents an excellent opportunity for these girls to connect with others who share similar abilities, engage in physical activity to improve their fitness, and potentially aspire to represent their country as a Lioness in the future."
