Important win for Argentina
Argentina entered the pitch for its second match in the need of a win, after the defeat in the first round. The match was very tactical, played in very balanced way up to the 28th minute, when American #4 Wesley Pincince received a red card. Right after it, to make things worse for the USA, #6 Cristian Billordo scored the first goal for Argentina. With one less player on the field of play, the USA tried to defend as hard as possible in the second half, and trying to get the tie, what almost did in two clear situations. But it was Argentina who got to score its second goal, by #5 Carlos Carrizo at the 40th minute. The USA got to reduce tha advantage of the South Americans, with a header of #3 Jacob Crumbley at the 61st minute, but not enough to tie the match, that finished with an important win for Argentina.
An incredible turn from Venezuela
Supported for a good number of fans one more time, Chile started the match in a very impressive way scoring two goals in the first four minutes, by #11 Patricio Saavedra and #10 Bastian Velasquez, making the Chileans extremely excited. But Venezuela did not get impacted, and got to balance the match, creating many opportunities to score, what happened by its captain #10 Jose Luis Quintana, at the 25th minute.
Venezuela came back to the second half decided to get the tie, what happened at the 38th minute, by #9 Jessi Yari, finishing a very good counter-attack. The Chileans had no how to prevent the turn from the Venezuelans, what happened in the 51st minute, scored by #4 Anthony Rea. At the very end, in a penalty kick, #10 Jose Luis Quintana gave final numbers to the score of the match.
