Thailand - Germany

Thailand started the match playing for the tie that would qualify them as the 3rd position in the group. The Germans pressured them, but the Asian goalkeeper was having a marvelous performance, not allowing Germany to score. In a counter-attack, at the 17th minute, Thailand scored the first goal, but eight minutes later their goalkeeper committed a penalty in Germanyโ€™s number 13, and got injury in this moment, and had to be replaced. The first half finished then tied, 1-1.

The second half started In the same way as the first one. Germany got to score in the 44th minute, and defended hard to not allow Thailand score the goal that would place them as 3rd. The Germans were successful and celebrated a lot the win that made them play for the 9th and 12th places in the next stage.
