CP Football President of Ghana Anne Doe appointed to IFCPF Board

CP Football President and astute Disability sports advocate Ms. Anne Doe last Saturday got elected onto the high office of the IFCPF board for the position of "member at Large for Africa". 

The virtual General Assembly, which lasted for almost over three hours deliberated on the progress of the sport worldwide centering on core deliveries like classification of athletes and budgetary expenditure. Anne joins the top division of the CP Football World outfit and will be seeking to address pertinent concerns in relation to the development of the game in Africa.
 

Africa currently has less than ten countries on the world CP Football stage and it would be one of the many high-staking objectives of the newly elected Ghanaian parasports advocate to execute during her two year tenure. Ghana is currently ranked third in Africa on the log sheet with an enviable overall placement in the world at the 38th position.
 

Cerebral Palsy Football in Africa is gradually growing in Africa with the likes of South Africa, Kenya, Egypt and Nigeria as some of the powerhouses of the sport. In recent times,the Maghrebian regions of Tunisia, Egypt and Morrocco are fast establishing their developmental efforts in the game. It is the desire and a major preoccupation on the heart of the newly elected member at Large for Africa to harness the fullest potentials of the female aspect in the various sub regions of Africa.
 

IFCPF has seen tremendous growth in the sport and envisages a more positive output next year.
