Japan - Germany

Japan and Germany had a great battle for position 3 and 4 in the group. The first chance was for the team of Japan. But slowly Germany got more ball possession and scored the opening goal. Half time result 0 - 1. In the second half Germany doubled the score but Japan immidiately replied with their first goal in the competition. Again Germany made the differance 2 goals but Japan never gave up and came back to 2 - 3. Germany missed a couple of very good chances in the last minutes when Japan tried to equalize. Final result 2 - 3.
