Egypt - Japan

In the all-deciding match in Group B, Japan had to win while Egypt only needed a draw to qualify for the semi-finals. Egypt was weakened by the suspension of two players. The tension was visible in the field. Until half time, the game went back and forth with no real chances for either team until Ura Tatsuhiro broke open the match by changing direction with a nice long shot. Halftime score 0 - 1.

Immediately after the break, the score was doubled and when captain Kubo, Yoshiki managed to find the net for the 0 - 3, the game was decided. In the final minutes, Japan increased the score even further to 0 - 5.
