CANADA - BRAZIL

Canada โ€“ Brazil
15:00 local time was the kick-off of the second match in the 2024 IFCPF World Cup. The first shot on goal was by Canada but then Brazil took control. They forced Canada back into their own half. That did not yield many chances. A few long-range shots and a header were the only attempts. In the 24th minute, it was finally a hit with a beautiful shot by De Souza Fernandez that hit the underside of the crossbar. Half-time score 0 โ€“ 1. Brazil also had a big advantage in the second half and kept Canada pinned down in their own half. The Canadians could not get out and the Brazilians calmly played the ball around until an opening presented itself. Canada still had a nice attempt by Brendan McGeachan but the goalkeeper was on his guard. From the counterattack, Brazil captain de Souza Evandro scored again the 0-2. After that, the Brazilians further increased the score to 0-3 and 0-4. Special features: Brazil misses a penalty
