CANADA - JAPAN

Both teams realize that a 3rd place is the best they can achieve in Group B with England and Brazil in the group. The heavy rain made the field slippery and the ball super fast. Japan had most of the ball but Canada opened the score with a long shot by Samuel Charron that gained extra speed due to the wet field and surprised the Japanese keeper. The score was doubled by Silviu Butnaru.
Halftime score 2 โ€“ 0
The score did not change in the second half despite Japan's attempts to score and get back into the game.
Final score: 2 - 0
