ENGLAND - CANADA

England started well in the match against Canada. With a beautiful opening goal by James Blackwell England opened the score. Sam Dewhirst made it 2-0. Canada did not give up yet and captain Samuel Charon reduced the deficit to 2-1. Then it was David Porcher's turn who scored similar goals. By turning away three times and placing the ball in the far corner he brought the half-time score to 5-1 with a hat-trick.

In the second half England further increased the score with two goals by substitute Mason Dunbar and two by Ethan Day. Canada did something back in the last minute and ensured that the final score was 9-2 with a goal by Brendan McGeachan. With this victory England is almost as good as qualified for the quarter-finals and Canada will play for position 9-15.
