Ukraine - England

In the first quarter final of the day, Ukraine and England met. The first half was equal with the first dangerous moment for England due to a goal attempt by Crossen. After that, the English tried a few times with high balls and goalkeeper Kulynych had to intervene a few times. Towards the end of the first half, chances arose for both teams. First it was England who had a chance but the ball miraculously did not disappear into the goal. Then it was Ukraine who became dangerous twice but goalkeeper Giles Moore made a good and necessary save.
In the second half, neither team took too many risks. Nevertheless, a few chances arose for both teams. Moore made another great save and England came to a dangerous shot wide. Neither team managed to score, which meant that extra time was needed in this first quarter final. No risks were taken in extra time either and both teams seemed to be content with taking penalties. Ukraine was the better team in this. Goalkeeper Kulynych became the star with two saves. Ukraine becomes first team to qualify for semi-finals
