IRELAND - DENMARK

At 11:00 local time kicked off the second edition of the 2024 IFCPF Women's World Cup. Ireland, present for the first time, didn't need much time to open the scoring. It was Heather Jameson who scored the first goal of this World Cup and wrote history for Ireland. Ireland was far too strong for Denmark, who also scored on several good attempts.
It was a very goal-rich match in which no fewer than 22 goals were scored.
Final score 20 - 2
