AUSTRALIA ARE WORLD CUP WINNERS!

In their second World Cup final meeting, Australia and USA were here to battle it out again for the gold medal. USA took an early lead as Australia took time to settle. Once Australia began to pass the ball around and take their chances, they left too big of a challenge for the USA to come back. Katelyn Smith in the Australia goal scored a hat trick with two goals from her own half and an expertly finished penalty.
Well done to both teams for their excellent football and an entertaining match.
