IFCPF was delighted to once again be represented at the annual VISTA Conference by Professor Raul Reina, IFCPF Head of Classification. In addiiton, Alba Roldan and Matias Henriquez also shared important research on CP Football in which he collaborated with Professor Reina and colleagues.

Brazil have retained their title as Parapan American Games champions. In an exciting match they beat Argentina 5-3, coming back from a goal down on two occasions. The final marked the end of the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games, in which six teams participated. USA have won the bronze after beating Venezuela 7-0 in the first match of the day. [more...]

Avtandil Baramidze won the World Cup with Russia last month in Seville, Spain. He has won several of the biggest prizes in CP Football, amongst others the Paralympic title in London 2012 (pictured), the European title in 2018. High time we get to know him a little better. Volunteer Maggie Tervit interviewed him in Seville.

The final of the 2019 Lima Parapan American Games on Saturday will be between Brazil and Argentina. Both teams knew up front that more than six goals were needed in order to advance to the gold-medal-match. Argentina beat Colombia 7-0 and Brazil took it even a step further against Venezuela.
