It is with disappointment that the International Federation of CP Football and Local Organising Committee must announce that the Kenyan team will not be taking part in the 2018 IFCPF African Championships starting, for reasons beyond our control. In the autumn of 2017 Clemson University officially launched its scholarship programme to invite Paralympic athletes to train and pursue a degree. A total of eleven new sports and disciplines expressed interest in joining the programme. At a meeting in Bonn on Saturday 27th January the IPC Governing Board reviewed all candidates. With regards to the sport of CP Football the Board decided to invite IFCPF into the main application phase.  

As part of the 2018 CPISRA World Games, IFCPF and CPISRA will offer a Female CP Football Development Camp and Competition to provide an international platform for female players to participate and compete.
