National Paralympic 7-A-Side Football Championships The National Paralympic 7-a-side Football Championships are being held from the 27th to 30th October 2016, and have increased from 4 teams for the 2015 Championships to 5 teams in this years.    The tournament schedule is available in the photos section of this page.  

Ireland’s CP Football Development Academy will be running their annual tournament early in 2017.  

IFCPF has developed a new ranking system which will recognise the development of CP Football in more countries, positioning them on the WRL. This year the International Federation of CP Football is supporting World Heart Day which aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and to educate people on the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle.  

The Deodoro Stadium hosted the final day of Football 7-a-side as Netherlands took on hosts Brazil for the Bronze medal. Brazil finished 4th in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and were keen to get a medal infront of their partisan home crowd.
